DescriptionThis is a very small waterfall that flows down a series of steps in the trap rock ridge and down into Black Pond below. The falls have not been taken care of. People have been throwing garbage off the top of the falls and down into the valley. However, a hike to the top of the cliff overlooking Black Pond is wonderful. The hike is easy and has to be the best view for the least effort in the state (excluding any places you only drive to). Be sure to bring your binoculars. You will get a birds eye view of the pond and the nesting area below. * I do not know or am unsure of the offical name of these falls.
